A photo of me holding Roux overlapped by a headshot of Roux waiting to be released to race. Dark teal, rust, light teal and red-violet squares in a row. A picture of Roux sailing over the jumps with a ball in his mouth.

My latest adventure – flyball racing in Davisburg.

November 20-21, 2010 I got to race. My flyball club S.W.A.T. (Speed With AttiTude) had two teams entered comprised of dogs from Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. Some of us had run together and some were new to the sport yet, we ran together well.

Although we didn't place at the top of our divisions, we ran out hearts out and had fun doing it. In true Rouxbinator form, I was telling anyone that would listen how much fun I was having! And, when the day is done, that is what you remember the most.
